Wellbeing Week 2023

Lats week we celebrated our annual Wellbeing Week. On Tuesday we were delighted to have Dearbhail visit us to speak to us about all things Autism related. To celebrate our Autism Awareness Day we all wore blue to raise awareness for autistic people all over the world. On Wednesday we welcomed Eibhilin O’Gorman for some Mindfulness workshops where we all learned about trying to live in the present moment. On Thursday we held a Bake Off event to raise money for Cork Mental Health who presented a very informative talk to Senior classes earlier in the year. Some Star Bakers were rewarded with prizes but no one went home hungry that day! Finally on Friday Cathy from CoreStudio called in for a Dancefit session to work on our physical wellbeing. Overall it was a very productive week where we all learned techniques in one way or another to look after our own personal wellbeing!
