Kilmichael Ambush Commemoration

November 29, 2022

By Liam

We were honoured to sing the ‘Boys of Kilmichael’ at last Sunday’s annual commemoration of the Kilmichael Ambush. We have many local links to that historic event in Irish history 102 years ago this year and it is important to remember and celebrate those links in order to keep them alive in the locality. Michelle O’Neill, Vice-President of Sinn Féin was the guest speaker on the day and you can see us pictured with her below.
