St. Enda’s National School, Kilnadur is a Catholic primary school under the patronage of the Bishop of Cork & Ross.
School Hours
School begins at 9.20 am with Junior and Senior Infants finishing at 2pm. First Class – Sixth Class finish at 3pm. Small break is from 11.20am -11.30am. Lunch is from 1pm to 1.30pm.
On PE days and sports days, children wear a:
Petrol Blue coloured tracksuit, grey crested polo shirt and runners.
Uniforms will be supplied by Cahills Schoolwear and can be ordered through the school.

Entry to the School
Children will enter and exit the school in the morning and evenings through the main front gate. Infant children, First and Second class children will enter and exit the school building through the main front door. Third to sixth class children will enter and exit the school building through the side door.
Anyone arriving late or needing assistance throughout the day should enter through the main front door and use the door buzzer.
Pupils Leaving School Early
Parents/guardians calling during the day to take pupils home early for any reason must report to the class teacher or the school secretary and record the reason for taking pupils out early.
Absences
If a child is absent from school for any reason, a note of explanation should be given to the class teacher, recorded in the child’s school journal or a phonecall made to the school. If a child is absent for a total of 20 days or more during the school year, the school is obliged to notify the National Education Welfare Board. Enrolment
Enrolment forms are now available from the school or can be downloaded in the Parent’s Section of this website. It can be completed and returned to the school and accompanied with the child’ birth certificate.
