Garden

February 23, 2023

By Liam

Pupils in the Senior Room have been busy clearing our garden in recent weeks and last week planted a bed of potatoes and another of onions. We soon hope to add beetroot and lettuce to the crop that we will collect over the coming months. We have also decided to leave a couple of our beds grow wild with some native species. Our bird feeders in the garden have been attracting a lot of attention too recently and we are keeping a record of all the various species that are visiting – so far it is the exotic looking goldfinch that is our most prolific caller!
