About Us

Symbols can convey powerful messages and we wanted to portray our core values within our school crest.

The scroll, quill and ink symbolise our school and our commitment as a school of academic excellence.
The ink represents our school curricula and the learning experiences the students will achieve.
The quill represents the joint act of teaching and learning, and the co-operation between our teachers, pupils and parents.
The scroll symbolises pupils’ achievement and success.
The book is a symbol of learning and knowledge. It represents the learning that we strive to provide for our pupils so that they may continue to learn and develop throughout their lives.
The football represents the school’s ongoing promotion of active health and well-being.
The school motto ‘Cairde ag foghlaim le cheile’ represents our love for our native language and the importance of friends learning together.

The hand and the iPad represents the schools ongoing development in and commitment to technology.

All the elements of our school crest act as a reminder to the commitment we undertake each day to the holistic nature of the education that all pupils receive here in St. Enda’s NS, Kilnadur.
